<p>The JDK 8 binaries can be downloaded from Oracle's <a href="http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html">JDK 8 download site</a>. For build performance reasons it is very important that this bootstrap JDK be made available on the local disk of the machine doing the build.
